I believe this is from the 1920s or earlier; judging by the design and gatoring on the varnish it appears to be Art Deco and most likely from a 100 years ago
The style is very similar to that of an old piano or a Gramophone.
Lots of character and almost creepy to open and look inside. The cabinet could be restored or repurposed. The parts inside have collector value for certain.
There is a neat three level shelf on the inside that once held bobbins and sewing supplies. I actually found a never used spool of thread(Beldings) that is probably from the 1940s or earlier, tucked in behind the shelf.
The harness that once attached to the sewing machine has a broken armature
Dimensions are: 29.5 high x 23.5 deep x 17.5 wide (inches)
The wheel turns and still controls the treadle to go up and down
There is a chain on the top that goes around a pulley and is attached to the top
